Sue Jones (Birkenhead)
- Sue Jones is nominated for the Spirit of LR Leisure Award for her remarkable courage, dedication, and teamwork.
- At 59 years old, with no prior football experience, Sue volunteered to play in the Kerr Cup when the tournament was at risk of cancellation.
- Took the initiative to organise training sessions, inspiring her teammates and fostering a strong sense of unity and confidence.
- Showed incredible enthusiasm, leadership, and resilience in preparing for and participating in the event.
- Played as goalkeeper on tournament day and earned the prestigious Golden Gloves Award for her outstanding performance.
- Sue's bravery and commitment not only saved the tournament but also inspired others, especially women of a similar age, to try something new.
- She continues to support, encourage, and uplift others across LR Leisure, truly embodying the spirit of inclusivity, teamwork, and community.
Amy Honeybun (Weymouth)
- Amy Honeybun is nominated for her outstanding contribution to the national LR Challenge.
- Played a key supporting role to the national organiser, ensuring the overall success of this year's event.
- Demonstrated exceptional dedication and teamwork, particularly in assisting the Gloucester team with guidance and organisation.
- Her support freed up time for the organiser and ensured smooth progress across all teams.
- Recognised as a positive, collaborative, and motivating presence - someone others naturally turned to for help and direction.
- Made a significant impact in the final weeks before the event by coordinating logistics and boosting team confidence.
- Showed strong commitment by being actively involved throughout the event itself.
- Passionate about other national initiatives, including Sports Day and her role as Team Captain, where she encourages participation and community spirit.

Maria Cocking (Nottingham)
- Maria Cocking is nominated for the Spirit of LR Leisure Award for her exceptional dedication, leadership, and support to everyone involved in LR Leisure.
- Described as "the glue that holds Leisure together", playing a vital role in keeping activities and people connected.
- This year, she mentored others to take over the treasurer role while also stepping up as Engagement Lead to ensure all members benefit fully from LR Leisure.
- At the LR Challenge, she selflessly served as back marker, prioritising others' safety and well-being over her own participation.
- Organises monthly challenges and continuously engages others to improve them.
- Runs the LR Leisure Awards, choosing not to accept awards herself so that others can be recognised and celebrated.
- When Sports Day struggled for momentum, Maria stepped in to support the National Organiser, becoming heavily involved to ensure its success.
- During the Kerr Cup, she volunteered to play goalkeeper when no one else would - leading to a team victory.
- Actively participates in online board games and other events, always aiming to help them grow and thrive.
- Regularly nominates others for recognition, including external CSSC awards, highlighting her selflessness and commitment to others' success.
